Auch eine Art Schatten
Die Filminstallation verhandelt Landschaften als Räume des Erinnerns, des Sichtbaren und Unsichtbaren, als Orte fragmentarischer Spuren, die von Verdrängung und Vergessen gezeichnet sind. Im Zentrum stehen die Überreste des ehemaligen Zwangsarbeiter:innenlagers in Roggendorf und Groß-Reipersdorf. Die Aufzeichnungen legen Spuren frei, überlagern Bilder der Landschaft und von Gebautem mit Erzähltem. Erinnerung wird als Prozess sichtbar, als ein Gefüge aus Erzählungen, Leerstellen und Schweigen.

Book Release: Stopover — Rückblick auf dreißig Ausgaben der ok transit exhibition series
2019-2025, 30 Ausstellungen, 95 Künstler:innen und Mitwirkende.
Die ok transit exhibition series findet ab 2019 zweimal jährlich im Ausstellungsraum der Expositur Paulusplatz statt. Das Kurzformat bietet eine Plattform für den Austausch zwischen Studierenden und Alumni aus verschiedenen Abteilungen der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien und darüber hinaus. Die vorliegende Publikation gibt einen Einblick in vergangene Ausstellungsprojekte und ist ein Zwischenbericht zu diesem Work-in-Progress.

Book Release: Zwischen den Regalen & what we can’t contain (Ausstellung im Kunstraum Weikendorf (24.5. – 4.10.2025, KOERNOE)
Zwischen den Regalen & what we can’t contain ist eine vielschichtige Annäherung an den Ort Weikendorf, die Studierende der Klasse Ortsbezogene Kunst im Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltung „Thinking with and learning from Weikendorf I + II“ unternommen haben. Als konzeptioneller Rahmen diente die „Speisekammer“, die den Dreh- und Angelpunkt für verschiedene künstlerische Beiträge bietet und globale Aspekte mit der lokalen Geschichte der landwirtschaftlichen Entwicklung in Dialog setzt.

„Brillant Dilettant (Impro)“, Ortsbezogene Kunst, Wien, 2025. Das Entwickeln eines musikalischen Gefüges über das Experiment. Dem Ego, der kollektiven Autor:innenschaft den Vortritt lassen. Der Drang des Tuns ist stärker als die Suche nach Perfektion. Die Öffentlichkeit damit konfrontieren und den Paulusplatz akustisch besetzen.

A Performance Series
Die Performanceserie be_coming together stellt Fragen nach unseren gegenseitigen Entsprechungen und Ambivalenzen, Verschmelzungen und Verwirrungen, während Bewegung und Sprache, Bild und Imagination, Szene und Bildschirm, Archivierung und Aktivierung einander kommentieren und kontaminieren, während sie ineinander kollabieren. Eine Spannung zwischen dem Realen und dem Fiktiven, zwischen nicht mehr und noch nicht. Ein be_coming together nicht nur miteinander und mit den Problemen der Welt, sondern als Teil von ihr, immer wieder aufs Neue getrennt von jedem totalisierenden Apparat. Vielleicht ein Getrenntsein, um ein Teil davon zu sein.
Entwickelt im Rahmen der Sommerkurse 2025 von Krassimira Kruschkova, einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen APL und Ortsbezogener Kunst.

The film installation explores landscapes as spaces of memory, of the visible and the invisible, as places of fragmentary traces marked by repression and forgetting. Its focus is on the remains of the former forced labor camp in Roggendorf and Groß-Reipersdorf. The recordings reveal these traces, overlaying images of the landscape and built structures with narrative. Memory becomes visible as a process, as a structure of narratives, voids and silences.

Book Release: Stopover — Throwback to thirty editions of the ok transit exhibition series
2019 – 2025, 30 exhibitions, 95 artists and contributors. Beginning in 2019, the ok transit exhibition series will be held twice a year at the exhibition space at Expositur Paulusplatz. The short format offers a platform between students and alumni from various departments of the University of Applied Arts Vienna and beyond. This publication provides insight into past exhibition projects and an interim report on this work-in-progress.

Book Release: Zwischen den Regalen & what we can’t contain (Exhibition at Kunstraum Weikendorf (24.5. – 4.10.2025, KOERNOE)
Between the Shelves & what we can’t contain is a multi-layered approach to the town of Weikendorf, undertaken by students of the department of Site-Specific Art as part of the course “Thinking with and learning from Weikendorf I + II.” The conceptual anchor of the project is the “pantry”—a symbolic and functional space that serves as a focal point for a range of artistic interventions, placing global aspects in dialogue with the local history of agricultural development.

A Performance Series
The performance series be_coming together raises questions about our mutual correspondences and ambivalences, fusions and confusions, while movement and language, image and imagination, scene and screen, archiving and activating comment on and contaminate each other as they collapse into one another. A tension between the real and the fictional, between no longer and not yet. A be_coming together not only with each other and with the problems of the world, but rather as part of it, always separated anew from any totalizing apparatus. Maybe being apart in order to be part of.
Developed as part of the 2025 summer courses by Krassimira Kruschkova, a collaboration between APL and Site-Specific Art.
