# Montag, 15 – 17 Uhr .::. Projektarbeit Holz – Einführung
In der Lehrveranstaltung erlernen wir das Arbeiten mit Holz anhand der vorhandenen Werkzeuge und (Hand-)Maschinen, die wir in der Holzwerkstatt am Paulusplatz zur Verfügung haben. Wir nehmen uns Zeit, machen Übungen und ich bereite Inputs, zb. zur Oberflächenbehandlung von Holz vor. Ziel der LV ist Vertrauen in das eigenständige Arbeiten mit Holz zu gewinnen und die kleine Werkstatt kennen zu lernen. Dabei geht es ausdrücklich darum, einen künstlerischen Kurs für Anfänger*innen anzubieten. Keine Vorkenntnisse erforderlich.

# Dienstag, 15 – 17 Uhr .::. Projektarbeit Holz – Fortgeschrittene
Im Kurs für Fortgeschrittene ist Zeit und Raum für eigene und aufwendigere Projekte mit dem Material Holz. Ich werde versuchen alle Studierenden individuell und bestmöglich zu unterstützen. Ihr könnt die Werkstatt von 10 bis 18 Uhr nutzen! Voraussetzung zur Teilnahme ist handwerkliche Erfahrung (mit Holz) und/oder der erfolgreiche Besuch der Einführungs-LV. Wenn es in der Gruppe zu Beginn des Semesters das Bedürfnis nach einer Gruppenarbeit gibt, können wir gerne inhaltlich und praktisch an einem gemeinsamen Projekt arbeiten. Es gibt dafür keine Vorgabe und keinen konkreten Vorschlag, ich bin aber durchaus offen für Gruppenarbeit und begrüße Initiativen in diese Richtung.
– Ein Schwerpunkt im Sommersemester kann das Weidenflechten und andere Flechtwerke sein.

# Monday, 3pm – 5pm .::. Wood project work – Introduction
In this course, we will learn how to work with wood using the tools and (hand) machines available in the woodworking workshop at Paulusplatz. We will take our time, do exercises, and I will prepare input, e.g. on surface treatment of wood. The aim of the course is to gain confidence in working independently with wood and to get to know the small workshop. The aim is explicitly to offer an artistic course for beginners. No prior knowledge is required.
– I will give an introduction to the workshop, tools and machines in several blocks at the beginning of the semester. Attendance at these sessions is a prerequisite for successful completion of the course.
+ Then you will plan, discuss, draw and make your own small projects from/in/with wood.

# Tuesday, 3pm – 5pm .::. Wood project work – Advanced
The advanced course offers time and space for your own more complex projects using wood as a material. I will endeavour to support all students individually and to the best of my ability. Prerequisites for participation are craftsmanship experience (with wood) and/or successful completion of the introductory course. If there is a desire for group work at the beginning of the semester, we can work together on a joint project in terms of content and practical implementation. There are no guidelines or specific suggestions for this, but I am definitely open to group work and welcome initiatives in this direction.
/ One focus of the summer semester could be willow weaving and other types of braidery.
