    A “deviant chronopolitics,” as Freeman puts it, is one that envisions “relations across time and between times” that upturns developmentalist narratives of history. Crip Magazine (one of my projects) collects artifacts of a transhistorical crip (sub)culture. It aims to create trans-temporary connections and communities across time.     In my research project I want to examine Tableaus as historical precursors for the structure of knowledge in contemporary scientific visual aids of all disciplines as well as in displays – summarized in images handling complexity in the Age of “Google“ and “Wikipedia“.  The Tableau enables a synoptical visual experience; it is a place of simultaneity –  a surface, that is organizing and structuring information aesthetically.

    Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten ‘posthuman’ zu werden, denn es gibt viele unterschiedliche Weisen den Begriff ‚posthuman‘ bzw. ‚den Posthumanismus‘ zu verstehen. Handelt es sich um einen neuen Menschen, um Maschinen, Cyborgs oder Tiere? Ist es das Wesen, das nach dem Menschen kommen wird, das unsterblich sein oder allein im Cyberspace leben wird?

     

    There are many ways of ‚becoming-posthuman‘, because there are many different understandings of what ‚the posthuman‘ is. Is it a new form of human, a machine, a cyborg, an animal? Is it the being that comes after the human, that will live forever or merely in cyberspace?

    Thematisiert werden – in einem theoretischen Überblick – performative Positionen von (ortsbezogener) Kunst, Tanz und Theater, die Kunst im öffentlichen Raum politisch denken, ortsspezifisch auf (soziale) Landschaften reagieren, offene ästhetische Formen etablieren, Abzäunungen unterschiedlichster Art thematisieren bzw. aufheben, die Grenzen zwischen Werk und Nichtwerk porös werden lassen, Kunstwerke temporalisieren.
