1030 WienWinter 2024/2025Dieses Semester beschäftigen wir uns mit transparenten Werkstoffen, die durch Hitze verformbar sind. In Kooperation mit Eva Zangerle werden drei Techniken des Ofengeformten Glas Verfahrens ausprobiert und einfache Bearbeitungstechniken des Materials erlernt, um skulpturale Objekte in Glas umzusetzen. Ziel ist es, die Hürde, mit Glas zu arbeiten, zu senken und zu experimentieren.
This semester we are working with transparent materials that can be shaped by heat. In cooperation with Eva Zangerle, we will try out three techniques of the kiln-formed glass process and learn simple techniques for working with the material to create sculptural objects in glass. The aim is to lower the barriers to working with glass and to experiment.

Exactly as Imagined is the result of a process rather than working towards a curated outcome. It is a collective proposal that includes an intervention in public space, an exhibition and ongoing care work.
