The class is an introduction to mold making and casting with diverse materials (silicone, plaster, alginate, acrylic resin, concrete etc) for building both lost and re-usable molds.2. Moulage dynamique – project based mold making
The course takes place in a project-oriented way and with consideration of the interests of the participating students. The aim is to collectively find and realize casting solutions.

1030 WienWinter 2018/19The focus will be site specific strategies in terms of intervention into and disruption of the social use of public space. We will talk about the self-organisation of space and language in relation to: setting up autonomous spaces for meeting and exchange (Education); setting up autonomous channels of the audio-visual communication (Television), and setting up autonomous channels of oral and sonorous communication (Radio). The gallery will be used as a space to develop and experiment with diverse related strategies of self-organisation.

1030 WienWinter 2018/19Als Schriftstellerin interessiert mich die Übersetzung von Bildern in Sprache, sei es in Form von simplen und komplexen Beschreibungen, Metaphern oder gar Neologismen. Als Künstlerinnen und Künstler geht es um den umgekehrten Prozess: das Finden der Wörter, die Versprachlichung, aber auch um die Ergänzung, um das Einbinden von Sprache im Werk, wie zum Beispiel in einer Artist Novel oder in einem Video.
As a writer I’m interested in the translation of images into language, either in simple or complex descriptions, metaphors or new word creations. As artists, you often have to deal with the reverse problem: You have to find words for the images or ways how to integrate text into the artistic piece you’re working on.

1030 WienWinter 2018/19Anhand von relevanten theoretischen Texten und Performance-Aufzeichnungen (z.B. von Forced Entertainment, Needcompany, Meg Stuart, Xavier Le Roy, Ivana Müller, nadaproductions und vielen anderen) wird Partizipation hinterfragt – u.a. als singuläre Politik der Freundschaft (Jacques Derrida), als Modus eines idiorrhythmischen (Roland Barthes) Zusammenlebens, als schrittweise Intraaktivität (Karen Barad).

1030 WienWinter 2018/19Kunst ist im städtischen Raum allgegenwärtig. Während gewisse Manifestationen künstlerischen Schaffens sehr präsent sind in der kollektiven Wahrnehmung – vor allem Werke, die der Idee der Repräsentation oder der Provokation verpflichtet sind – bleiben andere oft beinahe unbemerkt oder werden nicht als künstlerische Arbeit identifiziert; häufig handelt es sich hier um Eingriffe, die sich subtil in einen urbanen Kontext (temporär) einschreiben oder um feine Verschiebungen, die die Wahrnehmung oder Nutzung einer städtischen Situation beeinflussen und verändern.
